What is TweetStream?
TweetStream is built around a WebSocket stream for tracked X/Twitter accounts, with REST endpoints for history replay and account management.
How fast is TweetStream?
TweetStream's median X post detection time was 170 ms over the seven days to September 30, 2026, measured from X's post timestamp to first receipt on a TweetStream server. The figure leaves out the WebSocket hop to your host and your own processing. Live p25, p50, and p95 figures are at tweetstream.io/speedcheck and refresh hourly.
Who is TweetStream for?
It's for trading bots and desks that watch a fixed list of X accounts. Each post comes over one WebSocket, and TweetStream pulls out tickers, contract addresses, and image text for you. Discord communities also use it to route filtered alerts, and research teams on Pro replay account history. Plans start at $199 a month for 50 accounts.
What enrichment is included?
TweetStream delivers post/account-change alerts separately from enrichment. Enrichment includes token detection, OCR text, live price context, and prediction-market detection when those signals are present.

How does authentication work?
Send your API key as
tweetstream.auth.token.<API_KEY> in the WebSocket subprotocol list alongside tweetstream.v1. REST requests use Authorization: Bearer <API_KEY>.Which events does the WebSocket send?
The WebSocket stream uses a v1 envelope with

Is there a trial?
3-day trial on Minimum or Pro: 5 tracked accounts and 1 WebSocket. Card trials convert to paid on the billing cycle you choose unless you cancel. Stablecoin trials from a Solana wallet are free and convert to paid unless you turn off auto-renew. Manual stablecoin trials take a non-refundable $5 deposit, and brand-new wallets may need one too; it's credited to your first invoice, and you pay that invoice to continue. Which plan should I choose?
Minimum is the X feed entry plan for solo traders and small teams. Pro adds higher limits, history replay, affiliate-list changes, and supported Donald Trump and White House Truth Social delivery. Scale adds capacity. Ultra Speed includes every feed feature plus priority delivery for selected X accounts.

Pro, Scale, and Ultra Speed include supported Donald Trump and White House Truth Social posts over WebSocket and Discord. Minimum does not include Truth Social.
